Here we have a very rare and exceptional WMF Art Nouveau, Silver plated sweetmeat / Chocolate Basket, complimented with its original beautiful cut crystal glass bowl insert. Very substantial weighing 672 Grams, this piece is in exceptional condition with no silver loss or any dents, dints or scratches whatsoever, its cut crystal glass bowl which is removable, is also in as new condition, its rim is perfect with no chips, nibble or repairs, simply exceptional. The cut crystal glass has seven oval panels cut into the glass with a further six round spheres cut above the ovals, plus three cut lines going around the corners of the bowl, plus of course the cut edge, which is faultless. Absolutely beautiful and stylish, great craftsmanship. A very rare and usable beautiful antique in exceptional condition. 125 Years of age approx and would suit any interior style of interior, this piece is simply stunningly beautiful. Height of Basket with Handle : 26cm. Height of stand without Bowl :14.5cm. Bowl Glass length : 14 cm. Bowl Glass Width : 8cm. Base diameter : 8,2cm x 6.8cm. Weight : 1,280 Grams (over 2 kilo packed).
