WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) is a German producer of household metalware, created around 1880. By 1900 (after some mergers with various metal manufacturing companies) became the world’s greatest producer and exporter of metalware, mainly in the Jugendstil (“Young Style” or ” Art Nouveau”) design movement. Their decorative and utilitarian design pieces were mostly commissioned to artists, sculptors and architects, and produced with a very high quality and attention to detail. 90 mm x 35 mm diameter. 1 inch = 25.4mm.
