Gorgeous turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau glass decanter by historic Loetz. Upward tapering and fluted neck on globular bowl with short inset foot. Silver leaf-wrapped neck collar and shaped cartouche engraved with block monogram (LE) and entwined and whiplash tendrils, both mounted to high-looping leaf-wrapped and twisted handle. Mouth bulbous and cover hinged and raised in form of overlapping petals. Glass has dense horizontal wave pattern with alternating green and iridescent blue vertical stripes. Excellent condition with deep patina and nice shimmer. Dimensions: H 13 3/8 x D 5 1/4 in.
