Vintage Silver-Plated Desk Stand with Two Cut Glass Inkwells

Vintage Silver-Plated Desk Stand. This vintage silver-plate desk stand looks to date from the first half of the twentieth century. There are no maker’s marks. The stand is rectangular and is supported on four claw and ball feet. It retains two cut glass inkwells with silver-plated tops. Condition: Overall in fair-good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. The plating is badly worn, and the copper underneath shows though. It also has some pitting and denting in places. The cut glass inkwells have some quite heavy wear and scratching and one is cracked at the top. One of the silver-plate tops of the inkwells has some holes. Measurements are as follows. 23.5cm long, 10cm wide.

Vintage Italian Cut Glass Claret Jug w/ Silver Plate On Zinc Ornate Top – Red Wine Decanter / Carafe / Ewer – Mid Century Barware – 30cm. A lovely showpiece, this cut glass claret jug will bring a touch of sophistication to any dinner party. Produced in Italy, the mount is ornately worked from the acorn finial and leaves on the hinged lid, the grapevine leaves repeated around the base of the mount and spout, to the foliate decoration on the handle. The thick cut glass features a starburst design to the base with square-cut detailing to the body. The inner lid is stamped’Italy’ and although this particular piece is unmarked, it is electroplated silver on a zinc base. The lid unscrews to reveal the original rubber seal. Condition wise, there is tarnishing around the inner neck and spout (see image #10) but no other damage present to the piece. W (Spout to handle): 11cm.

Vintage MCM Eisenberg Lozano Silver Plate & Glass Water Carafe – Made in Germany – 10.5 Tall. Stamped under the lid. Measures 10.5″ tall, 9″ wide from spout to handle and 6 wide. The Eisenberg Lozano Company was based in NYC and. Was founded in 1953 by Arthur Eisenberg & Neal Lozano. Glass is a beautiful soft, smokey blue green color. It’s a really pretty piece. This is in as found condition. There are some scratches on the silver which I have shown in the photos. Please see pictures as they serve as part of the description. Vintage Etched Glass 6 Piece Cruet Condiment Set. This is a really lovely vintage cruet caddy. Really hard to find in this condition and this large. Silver plate does need to be polished. Glass pieces appear all original and are etched and intact. Three cruets do have glass wheel divots on each side? Unsure why but they are all identical so don’t believe they are chipped. Under silver plate tops rough edge glass does show some wear as well! Approximately 16 inches tall overall. Hard to find set with this many pieces that are all original! Lovely for any tablesetting or collector!
