Decanter Art Nouveau Glass & Metal Probably Germany WMF Etched Flowers

A lovely decanter in glass with metal top and handle in lovely art nouveau style form the early 20th century, probably manufactured in Germany at WMF. The decanter is 32 cm (12.8) high and in really good condition except from some minor scratches in the glass. The glass do have a lovely etched floral decor.

Superb quality silver plated German WMF Art Nouveau jardiniere, centre piece with the original cut glass liner, circa 1900. In excellent condition, needs more of a clean to the more intricate areas. Cut glass liner in perfect condition. Length 31.6 cm. Width 10.3 cm, at feet 12.8 cm. Height 12.4 cm approx. Total weight 1159 grams.

Antique Art Nouveau WMF Handled Silver Plated Centrepiece Cut Glass Liner

Offered for sale is a beautiful antique Art Nouveau WMF Handled Silver Plated Centrepiece Cut Glass Liner. The piece is in exceptional condition with little wear to the electroplate and a perfect glass liner. Antique and original throughout the design includes delightful lily flower heads and sinuous art nouveau forms. The handle is decorated with reeded banding as can be seen in the photos. Marked to the handle with the WMF shield and ostrich logo as well as an italicised “f” further down. Condition: near mint with no chips dings or restoration. Size: 23cm 9″ across 20cm 8″ deep 21cm 8.25 high (approximations).

WMF Art Nouveau Silver Punch Bowl Green Glass Insert MOST BEAUTIFUL IN THE WORLD

This is a Magnificent MUSEUM GERMAN Art Nouveau Punch Bowl by the renowned silversmiths WMF of Germany, c. 1890; finely crafted in silver plated pewter with a green glass bowl insert. The handled openwork frame follows the naturalistic Art Nouveau style with floral decoration of leaves and branches in raised relief supporting the green glass bowl. The punch bowl is in top condition with no loss to the superb and absolutely shiny silver-plating, however there is a crack hairline on the inside base not showing up to the outside; hallmarked with the WMF factory marks. Measures 44 cm high by 40 cm wide. An absolute most for collectors! WMF is the abbreviation for Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik, which means Württemberg Metal Factory and was created in 1880 in the small town of Geislingen on the river Steige (Geislingen an der Steige), after the successful merger of two smaller silver plate foundries. Set of 4 WMF art nouveau cup/glass holders and glasses have been added so a final touch. Came from outside reading. The OX means oxidized silver therefore, the very dark gray color. They should not be polished, but I found that the soft micro cloths do diminish the darkness quite good. Each is 2 inches high and 2.5 in. Wide at the top, the base is 2.25 inches & weight is 2 oz. Last photo shows how they can look cleaned, using a method for such products!

Beautiful Quality WMF Art Nouveau Jegendstil Silver plated on Best Nickel, Olive Green Crystal Glass, Handled Bonbon Basket. Fully Signed WMF, EP, NS. Total Weight : 345 Grams. A beautiful, rare & collectable WMF Art Nouveau Silver Plated bonbon dish, marked with a combination of WMF symbols, WMF, EP, NS (silver plated on best Nickel Silver). All WMF marking are stamped clearly on the edge of the base rim. Its design is Jugendstil / Art Nouveau as this time was at the beginning of the art nouveau period, hence the this piece has Jugendstil trellis work over the boarder of art nouveau oval floral shields, complimented with a very substantial and beautiful fixed basket handle. Please check out the photos. The Bonbon Basket has the original WMF fine olive green crystal Glass liner insert, which is very fine and has a beautiful light tone of green colour, no firing flaws absolutely perfect. This piece of WMF is of superior quality and excellent condition, perfect style and quality as you would expect from one of the best metalware companies in the world, WMF. Excellent Condition, No Silver Loss. Metal work is correct, Basket handle is straight and strong, Bonbon dish is free from dents, dints or nasty scratches. Trellis work is perfect with no breaking or splits. The olive green crystal glass insert is perfect. No nibbles or firing marks, has a beautiful green tone of colour and vibrant shine. The base is straight and true, no wobbles and sits perfectly. This piece of WMF is simply in excellent condition and considering its over a 130 years old, it must of been very well cared for by its previous owners and for sure only used as display. However like most pieces of this age, this piece may show some signs of wear, a few light marks, very light swirl marks, but nothing that’s commensurate with age. Height to the top of the basket handle : 16 cm. Height to the top basket including the glass liner : 9.8 cm. Width including handles : 14.0 cm. Diameter of bowl : 12. Diameter of Base : 8.0 cm.
